What Happens If I Don't Renew? Overdue Invoices, Suspension, Cancellation

If a renewal invoice is not paid, the service is suspended automatically on the due date. If the invoice is still unpaid 7 days after the due date, the service is cancelled automatically and all of its data is deleted permanently. Renew at least 2 days early to stay safe, or request a cancellation if you no longer need the service.

The timeline of an unpaid renewal

WhenWhat happens
Before the due dateA renewal invoice is issued. Pay it at least 2 days before the due date.
Due dateIf the invoice is unpaid, the invoice becomes overdue and the service is suspended automatically.
Due date + 7 daysIf the invoice is still unpaid, the service is cancelled automatically and its data is deleted permanently.
Deleted data cannot be recovered. Keep your own backups, and do not rely on paying at the last minute.

Step 1: Pay the renewal invoice on time

Open your invoice list and pay any unpaid invoice. If you have several, tick them and click Pay selected to pay them all at once. You can pay by credit card via Stripe, Alipay, UnionPay card, PayPal, USDT (crypto) or bank transfer.

Step 2: If your service is already suspended

Pay the overdue invoice as soon as possible, and in any case before 7 days have passed since the due date. Once day 7 passes, the service is cancelled and the data is gone. If the service does not come back after you pay, open a ticket with the Customer care/Billing department and include the invoice number.

Step 3: Make sure it does not happen again

  • Renew 2 days early. Do not wait until the due date itself.
  • Keep credit on your account. Funds added with Add Funds are used automatically for renewal invoices.
  • Choose yearly billing. Fewer renewals mean fewer chances to miss one. For example, cloud plan mini costs $119.99 per year instead of $19.99 per month.
  • Turn on Telegram reminders. Link Telegram once on the Telegram Sign-in page. You get a message before a service renews and when an invoice becomes overdue.

Step 4: Cancel a service you no longer need

If you do not want to keep a service, do not just leave the invoice unpaid. Request a cancellation instead:

  1. Sign in to the client area and open the service page.
  2. Click Request Cancellation.
  3. Choose the cancellation type and submit the request.
TypeWhat happens
End of Billing PeriodThe service keeps running until the next due date. It is then removed and no more invoices are issued.
ImmediateThe service and all its data are deleted as soon as the request is processed.
End of Billing Period is the safer choice in most cases: you can keep using the time you already paid for and copy your data off the server. Services are non-refundable once activated, so Immediate does not return the unused time.

FAQ

Can I get my data back after the service is cancelled?

No. When a service is cancelled for non-payment, or cancelled with the Immediate option, its data is deleted permanently.

Will I be suspended if I pay on the due date?

You risk it, because suspension happens automatically on the due date. Pay at least 2 days before.

I chose End of Billing Period. Will I get another invoice?

No. The service runs until the next due date, and then it is removed without a new invoice.
