Game hosting for players in Japan, Korea and East Asia
If your players are in Japan, Korea or nearby, hosting the server in the same region keeps the network path short. JUSTG Tokyo and Seoul servers are built for exactly that.
Private and community servers
Host a server for your friends, guild or community with your own mods, maps, rules and whitelist.
Game backends
Run login, matchmaking, lobby, leaderboard, API and database services for your own game.
Relay and acceleration nodes
Deploy a relay or acceleration node that needs a Japanese or Korean exit IP for your players.
Region-matched accounts
Keep a consistent Japanese or Korean IP for region-matched game accounts and launchers you are entitled to use.
Full root access
Install any game server software, panel or script. You get full root or administrator access and a VNC console.
Online in minutes
Your VPS is deployed automatically after payment, so you can start installing right away.
Why a native IP and server location matter for game servers
A native IP is an IP address that is registered and geolocated in the country where the server actually runs. A JUSTG Tokyo VPS gets a native Japanese IP and a Seoul VPS gets a native Korean IP. They are not addresses broadcast from another country.
For game hosting this matters in three ways:
- Shorter network path. The server sits in the same region as your players, on Asia-optimized routes, instead of on another continent.
- Consistent geolocation. Game platforms, launchers and server lists that look up an IP's country see Japan or Korea, matching where the server really is.
- Correct region for relay nodes. An acceleration or relay node that should exit in Japan or Korea actually does.

Which plan fits your game server?
Plans are identical in Tokyo and Seoul. Every plan includes 1 native IPv4, free IPv6 and a 500 Mbps port. The suggestions are a starting point: real needs depend on the game, mods and how many people play at once.
| CPU | RAM | SSD | Traffic | Monthly | Yearly | Typical game use |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 core | 512 MB | 10 GB | 500 GB | $19.99/mo | $119.99/yr | Relay or acceleration node, small bot or test |
| 2 cores | 1 GB | 20 GB | 1 TB | $29.99/mo | $199.99/yr | Relay node, lightweight game backend or API |
| 3 cores | 2 GB | 40 GB | 2 TB | $39.99/mo | $299.99/yr | Small private Linux server for friends |
| 4 cores | 4 GB | 80 GB | 3 TB | $49.99/mo | $499.99/yr | Small private server, Windows Server start point |
| 5 cores | 8 GB | 160 GB | 4 TB | $79.99/mo | $799.99/yr | Larger community server or modded server |
| 6 cores | 16 GB | 240 GB | 5 TB | $129.99/mo | $1299.99/yr | Large community server or several instances |
| 7 cores | 24 GB | 320 GB | 6 TB | $169.99/mo | $1699.99/yr | Busy modded server, several instances or full backend |
How to size a game server VPS
Memory is usually the first limit for a game server, followed by CPU for the game's main thread and disk for worlds, maps and logs. Use these rules of thumb:
- 512 MB to 1 GB: relay and acceleration nodes, Discord or community bots, lightweight backends, and test environments.
- 2 to 4 GB: a small private server for a group of friends on Linux. If you prefer Windows Server, start at 4 GB.
- 8 GB: a larger community server, a heavily modded server, or a game server plus its database on one machine.
- 16 to 24 GB: big community servers, several game instances on one VPS, or a complete game backend.
You can upgrade your plan from the client area later, so it is fine to start smaller and grow. Not sure? Open a ticket and ask for a test server before you buy.
Dedicated servers for bigger game projects
When a VPS is no longer enough, for example for a large network of servers or many IP addresses, move to a JUSTG dedicated server in Tokyo or Seoul:
- Tokyo: Xeon E3-1230v3, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, 100 Mbps global port, 1 native IPv4 for $199/mo. Also available with a native /24 (1 + 253 IPv4) for $418/mo.
- Seoul: Xeon E3-1230v3, 16 GB DDR3 ECC, 512 GB SSD, 100 Mbps KT network, 1 native IPv4 for $199/mo. Also available with 256 native IPv4 for $499/mo.
- High-end: 2x E5-2695v2 with 512 GB RAM in Tokyo ($999/mo), or 2x Xeon Gold 6388 with 512 GB DDR4 in Seoul ($1388/mo).

Tokyo or Seoul?
Choose the city where most of your players are. Pick Tokyo (Japan VPS) for a Japanese audience and a native Japanese IP, and Seoul (Korea VPS) for Korean players and a native Korean IP. For a mixed East Asian audience, either works well; you can also run one server in each city.
Changed your mind? A cloud VPS can move between Tokyo, Seoul and Moscow from the client area once every 30 days. The move gives you a new IP and the old VPS is deleted, so back up your game data first.
